Cantor Allan Robuck
Cantor Allan Robuck has proudly been associated with Congregation Ohev Shalom for over twenty-five years; first as a member of the congregation and for the past twenty years as the Hazzan. His duties at Congregation Ohev Shalom include leading services, teaching music in the Hebrew School, training both adult and student-age B’nai Mitzvah candidates, and directing the High Holyday choir. He is also the pianist and leader of our popular monthly “Friday Nite Chai” musical services.
Cantor Robuck is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. After appearing as a pianist at Walt Disney World for over ten years, he elected to pursue a career in the cantorate. Five years of training with Cantor Moshe Friedler of Tampa, Florida enabled him to become first the part-time and later full-time Hazzan here at Congregation Ohev Shalom. He is a commissioned member of the Cantors Assembly. He is also founder of the Jewish singing group VISIONS and has toured with them nationally. His original compositions can be heard at COS as well as in synagogues across the country.
Cantor Robuck and his wife Robin reside in Lake Mary and are the proud parents of Michael, Benjamin and Yoni.

Message from Cantor Robuck
Shalom! As you navigate through our website, you will find numerous and varying types of opportunities for participation in synagogue life here at Congregation Ohev Shalom. As the Cantor, that is my overriding goal – to encourage our members to actively participate in living a Jewish life. For many, that means singing along with one of our many congregational melodies during services. Notice that I call them our melodies, because they indeed are part of the very fabric of this synagogue family. Our songs, be they old or new, are for everyone to sing, not just to enjoy. As we move into our beautiful new facility, I hope that you will join us, either just for a visit or as regular members, as we sing our songs. Even if singing isn’t your “thing”, COS is a place where you can find something that will enhance your practice of Conservative Judaism, both personally and communally. Whether you are looking for a place to practice our time-honored rituals or a place to reach a new sense of spirituality, or even just looking for some great Jewish friends, COS is the place for you.
