Amy Geboff
Amy Geboff became the Religious School Administrator since May 1996, and in 2002 she accepted the position of Youth and Family Education Director. In this capacity, in addition to directing the school, she supervises all programs of our youth groups and teens as well as Family programming. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she is a graduate of Akiba Hebrew Academy. Amy received a Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work of Yeshiva University. Prior to coming to Orlando in 1995, Amy was the Program Director of the JCC of Youngstown, Ohio for 9 years and the Youth Director for 2 years prior. In addition to supervising the professional staff of the JCC, she coordinated the three Day Camp programs and was responsible for Jewish/Family programs. Amy recently completed a two year program, Mandel Teacher Educator Institute where Educators from all over the country gathered over the course of the two years and worked together to look at the practice of teaching as well as creating meaningful Professional development and elevating Jewish Education to be a respectable profession.
Amy and her husband Eric live in Longwood. Their oldest daughter Sara is a recent graduate from Indiana University and their daughters Alana and Rebecca are entering their sophomore year at Florida State University.
